Thanks for that link. The Midland Grand Hotel (now St Pancras Hotel) has always been a favourite of mine. Back in the 80's I used to walk past it regularly enroute to the station.

A huge structure, it had fallen into disrepair and was in need of renovation/refurbishment. Architecture is another interest of mine and I would have adored to go inside and take a look around.

Several 'ghost host' type tv programmes have been filmed there.
