Title: 2 Leich handsets, both different. Why???
Post by: RB on October 10, 2021, 08:25:32 PM
Hey, Ya'll...
Can anybody tell me what I have here???
These are both Leich??? handsets...
The covers look the same, but they are not.
The innards will not transfer, just enough different to not allow.
Any way, the top one works on my CB phone, the bottom one does not???
Is one for LB?, and the other for CB???
or something else entirely???

Just a guess but could the top one be a WE F handset just marked Leich? Except for the caps it looks like an F and has WE elements.

The Leich handsets of that style that I have all have WE receiver and transmitter elements in them the same as an F1.

Ditto - I've not seen elements like the bottom version before.

OK, I guess I was wrong again. I haver only worked on one of them and it had the different elements which I assumed were Leich units.
