This is the same AE 40 in Chinese Red that was grouped with an Orchid AE 40 at the end of October and it was the subject of our Auction Contest #74. The Orchid one is relisted as well. It is the same seller as last time as well so I have no idea what happened with the previous auction where the pair sold for $2247.22 with 29 bids.

Our Old Contest 74 ->   http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=7782.0

So this is an opportunity to see if they go for more individually than in pairs. This Red AE 40 is in less than pristine condition. It has a bit of warping though could be worse and is quite discolored.

$493.88. Looks like K1WI takes the prize money on this one.

Congrats K1WI

Seller must be ticked, less than $1000 total for the Red and the Orchid AE40's where he thought he had them sold for over $2200 a month ago.
