Dear CRPF:

I'm looking for information in the form of wiring diagrams or instruction sheet on GTE trimline style sets made by Vodavi Communications, please. GTE used these in the 1980's into the 1990's.

I think they went under the brand "Slimline".

They were offered through GTE Phone Mart stores, and there may have been rental versions as well.

The model number is G-2384-MBA 20M; There were also versions with electronic ringers, but I'm mainly interested in the ones with bell ringers code (BA) .

A distinct feature is a switch marked "desk/wall"; it's not a tone/pulse selector, it seems to change the phone's performance in desk or wall mode by optimizing the phone circuit somehow.

There also appears to be some variations.. Some have a small lever for ringer volume, others have a slider to adjust the ringer.

The handsets closely resemble WE Trimline handsets.

If CRPF can please help find more information on these, I'd gladly thank them.
