I love that machine, but it is time to let it go. :'(

Well, today, I sold my baby (J.D. 950). I do hate to see it go, but the new owner impresses me as someone who will love it and care for it as I have. He is a mechanic for the government, and when he heard the engine running, he didn't even question my price.

I am glad it is him who got it.

I haven't advertised it - just left it at the front of the property for the past two weeks with a for sale sign on it.

So, I will miss it, but it will have a great new owner who appreciates it!

That's great Dave! I know you will miss it but at least it sold easily (and you got a good $ for it).

Hi Terry:

Yes, I am pleased. But I will miss it. Not much good with it sitting in the yard when I can hardly get on it any more because of all my health problems.... Anyway, it has added to the retirement fund!

The only thing I have to do with the money is buy Linda a garden cart to haul behind the lawn tractor... I will miss that front end loader!
