This topic comes up every once in a while, but I would like to bring it up once again, particularly for the new people here.

Telephone Collectors International (TCI) with the collaboration of many collectors has developed a massive telephone technical library  This was done with volunteers who have donated countless hours and personal resources to develop and maintain.

Best of all, its all available absolutely free!

Here is the link:  http://www.telephonecollectors.info/

The information in the library is massive and growing all the time.  Sometimes it seems so large that searching can be daunting.  However, I would like to point out that there are some shortcuts that can really help, and often go un noticed.

Let's say you are looking for a wiring diagram for a Western Electric 302.

In the center of the left-hand margin, there is a section under the Repository for Wiring diagrams and technical information.  If you click on that, there will be a drop-down list by manufacturer.  Click on Western Electric.

That will bring up quite a list of Western Electric model series.  Down near the bottom of the list, is the 300-series phones, which has 18 files on all the various versions of the 300 series, including several on the 302 itself.  Clicking on these will return pdf files that you can download and print.

This was just one example.

Anyone reading this who has an interest in getting some of the technical information that is now available for free, should definitely give the TCI library a spin.
