Can anyone tell me what the part in this photo is? The part in back with the red box around it. Is it a WE part? Is it for a cut off candlestick "A1" type set? Any and all info appreciated.

It is not for a stock A1, but looks like it is either the product of somebody's handiwork or maybe for a special field trial set that never made it into production.  If you could find somebody to make an extra-length plunger for it, you could make up a one-of-a-kind A1 with it.

It sold.. I guess someone thought it was useful. I was thinking about buying it, that's why I did not post the auction to start with.

That's a shame Harry.  :(

If poss next time crop/amend the image to make it more difficult for someone to find. Or message me and I'll do it for you if that helps.

Auction info shows as sold at 14:01:15 UTC.

B.I.N.    Anyone could have bought it anytime. I myself have lost items because I had to ask more info first. Missed some nice phones.   :(

Always more to learn...

I really did not need it anyway ;D
If I really wanted it I would have bought it first, then asked questions here.
