Central Office/Rack Mount 1A2 Phone

Hello everyone!

I came across a post on another forum asking about Central Office/Rack Mount 1A2 phones. There was only one response, but they did post the following picutres:





There wasn't any mention of model numbers or even a manufacturer. Has anyone ever come across something like this, or have any model/BSP data? I imagine these were made to fit into 23" racks containing 584 KTU card racks, and used for testing purposes. It'd be neat to own one of these, assuming they are still floating around out there.

The logo next to the black handset appears to be Allen Tel Products, Inc.

A topic on Sundance mentioned that Allen Tel made these panels configured for 5 lines up to 200+ lines:

I did check Allen Tel's website. The only rack phone they appear to still make is a single line touch model. From the spec sheet, it looks like the guts of a 2500 phone mounted on the back of a 19"/23" 2U rack panel, with no cover. I could probably build something like that, but that would require finding one or more 2564/2565 parts units.
