Northern electric QSQE2500 digipulse ephone with red line signal that flashes when call coming in.  1983.  Unusual (to me ) transmitter and receiver elements

We called them 2500e sets. NT's answer to AE's 80E thogh the 2500e was still built better. If the red light is a push button as well, it is a "link" button (preprogrammed flash duration) for use as a PBX station and the light in the button can be a Message Waiting light.
