I tried and lost, but what is this? (Goodwill Online phone).

Even with Anita chipping in half for my birthday so I could up my bid I still lost out.  About 4 times I put in what I thought was a safe bid that nobody would touch.  I thought for sure my last bid of $160 would surely win, but I was bitterly disappointed.  Oh well, that means Anita will have to get me something else for my birthday, but I really wanted this phone, so cool looking.  I was even prepared to pick it up in person since I would only be 30 miles from Hillsboro, OR around Thanksgiving.

So, what is this?  Combination intercom and phone?  From some of the markings they describe (Telefon Fabrik Automatic), it sounds perhaps European, but the subset says "Bell Telephone Company".  The handset isn't an F1.  Did somebody here get it?

The Bell Telephone part is BTMC of Belgium, the decal depicts "Bell Telephone Mfg. Company", so it's definitely entirely european, as to what it is, I'd say the same, an intercom come telephone, probably requires other phones to be connected to it and a line or two to the outside world... :)

Kind of like the Planset phones we had with 700 series phones stuck on the top... :)

I googled Planset phones, they're awesome looking! http://tinyurl.com/ksmp3mc  Do you think the final sale price was worth it?  Of course the buyer thinks it's worth it or they wouldn't have paid that amount, but in general, how rare is this phone and what do they generally go for?

To be honest, I don't know if it's a good price, they're not something I look at myself, but converting the $ to £, it's a lot less than you'd pay for something similar over here (but then we tend to overpay for everything!!)... :)

Yeh, that's one of the planset phones, I had the later N625 in my head, the one you found has a 200 series Pyramid phone on it, the N625 usually used the 706 or 746 on top of the base... :D

It is called a lijnkiezer (linienwahler), line selector. It was used on private networks. The switches let you choose another extention within the network, but jou could also select an outside line (or more).

160 dollar is very much for it.

A have a similar one, if you like. I acquired it a couple of weeks ago when I bought a small lot of phones. It doesn't really fit in my collection, so I put it up for a swap with another collector.

It's not easy to find a good deal on shopgoodwill.com any more.  It seems that every phone I have seen there in the past year or so has sold for more than its value.  In the past, I got a few bargains there, but now it's too popular.

The first and 4th one pictured I would like, but I imagine shipping from the Netherlands would be cost prohibitive.

It depends. Far cheaper than that 160 dollar.  ;)

Outside Europe  € 34,30  upto 5 kg. € 58,30 upto 10 kg. I doubt these 2 phones together weigh less then 5. The no 4, RTT 56 A it think, is quite heavy. Please mind that there is another RTT 56 in that lot, that is in almost mint condition, accept that the cord is missing. That is a RTT 56 B.

Are you selling them as a lot, or individually?
