Gee I've been found out. :)

Yeah I've been tinkering with the WE 500 article for some time now, but most of it was written by others.  I've gone in and cleaned up what I can, added this and that, and some of the pictures.  That is my 1500, and some shots of my 51', and my 2003 and 554.

That 554 is a mongrel phone, made of a 59' WE chassis, a 55' number 7 dial, a 55' G1 handset, a new handset cord, and a late 60's cover.  The black hook is from a NE 554, made in 65', that I bought on e-bay when I was trying to create a replica first year 554.  The first years had black hooks, then came satin, but I did not know that until someone here, I think it was Jester, discussed it.  It's all painted except the hook, which is plastic however and not metal.

There used to be articles on the 1500 and 2500 separately, but someone wanted them all fused into one.

I did write most of the ranch house article a few years ago.  Of course they get modified a lot.

Anyway, I just wanted to say "Thanks, Heath!".  :)
