Sure does but there is no marking on the handset grip at all and the transmitter cap is different. Any Ideas? WE elements inside dated 1945...Doug

It doesn't look the Connecticut handsets I have.  The contacts are totally different than on my FTR handset.  Is it made of bakelite, tenite, something else?

It is bakelite, no doubt. I used fine steel wool as it was pretty battered.

There is no way that this was sanded down, it is very flat without signs of any sanding whatsoever. The bakelite is consistant and it is very shiny. I have seen them sanded and you can tell right away. This is smoooooth and heavy...sure looks like an F1....Doug

Anyone have one of the WE sets made for the military (TP-6A?)? These look like 302s but have 4 screws and a schematic on the bottom. I am wondering if the handsets on these have WE markings.

Do F1 caps thread on your handset?  The transmitter cap does not look WE.
