My wife found this BELL SYSTEM door knob last week at a garage sale.   I've never see one and a 35 year WE retiree friend told me he had never seen one either but he had heard some of the Bell System buildings had them on their doors.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

I recall seeing them in several of the older Bell System buildings I worked in.

Many have sold on eBay over the years, and usually for a hefty sum. One sold in March for $166.28. Pairs can sell for $200 or so, depending on condition. Search eBay and choose completed listings to see several of them and their selling prices. Items with green prices actually sold.

Thanks for all of the great information on the door knobs.

With your information, I will probably list it on eBay.

Thanks a lot,
Gary
