Greetings,
This is the 2nd of 2 IIT TRENDLINE (thanks Paul-F for the proper name) phones I purchased on eBay. This is the rotary version, w/ dates from the mid to late 70s. This one is in working order but the finger wheel & plastic backing plate are cracked. I found a similar post http://tinyurl.com/cm6m2vw  about how to change a Trimline dial. I don't have a Trimline for comparison but would like to know if the ITT dial comes off in a similar way - from the front or do I need a backdoor approach. Will only similar ITT parts work or can I use ones from a different maker.

There is visible corrosion on the circuit traces. I have some Radio Shack cleaner (w/o lubricant). Will that clean the corrosion?

This phone has a light which isn't working.

Thanks for your help & my growing collection thanks you...
