Yeah, I was thinking I would make a nice profit on this after I cleaned it up. Guess not!
Here is a picture of the damage. I also noticed the handset cap is taped on, I guess that must be broken too. I did not bother taking the tape off.

I have a packing instruction statement I copy and paste each time I buy a phone...so far I haven't had a incident like yours. Glad he made it good $$ wise, though.
