Title: 72H3A dial
Post by: poplar1 on January 19, 2023, 10:11:04 PM
The 72H3A  Touch-Tone dial is often found on WE 2500 DMG, 2554 BMPG, and others manufactured or remanufactured starting in 1983. The connections are slightly different from those of the 35-type dials. When replacing a 35-type dial, if there is a polarity guard in the telephone set, it should be removed. The 72-type dial has a built-in polarity guard.

See attached table from TCI Library.

"D" is the screw terminal on the back of the dial.
