My phone dials wrong number !!!

anybody please detail the alignment of the dial.... i have just reinstalled the spring in the dial assembly. after that the dial is not working properly.. always the number i dial to is getting connected to a wrong number... i am not sure what exactly is wrong. please help. this is an old model used in india(Make by ITI). May be an international version of the same is available.....

It is possible the plastic 4 pronged  disc that the fingerwheel mounts to is installed one half turn out of sync. this would cause problems.

I agree with Robbie. If the dial is designed like an AE dial and you have the cam put on 180 degrees wrong, then you won't shunt the first pulse. Take the dial off and while looking at the pulse contacts dial a few numbers starting with 1. Compare how many times the pulse contact closes and opens compared to the number you dialed. Tell us what you find.
