Ive got a vintage AE Wall phone missing parts, so I am putting WE500 into this cool looking phone. My problem is the AE has the original dial and am wondering if anyone knows of a WE dial that might fit into the dial opening of the AE ??

So, why do you want to change the dial when you have the original one ?

A Western Electric 5H or 6A dial has the same 3 holes in the same position for holding the dial, but I don't know if the large opening will accommodate either of these.

However, you could use the original AE dial by connecting its dial pulsing contacts to F and RR and the shunting contacts to GN and R on the 425 network.
