Hi.
The day before yesterday, my son (14) come with 4 plastic bags in his arms. Gift to you from......(classmate)
It is a lot of resistors, relabeling number rings for Oslo dials, some relays carbon transmitters .. and 2 butt sets.
These butt sets had nick names among the tel-co guys "the banana" , "and the bone".

Did you have names like that?

Note the dial center of the banana.

The banana has a hybrid circuit with only resistors and capacitor.
I have tried to draw it, and has left out the dial and the hook switch.

d_s_k, That certainly is a different dial center on the banana phone. Do you have both the normal and reverse dial systems where you are at?

Yes the telephone has been used in "Oslo tele distrikt" where all inside city limit has reverse dial, and the rest has normal dial.  I live inside the old area of Oslo distrikt, but have regular dial. This made some effects for those living on the wrong side of the border, they could not get a telephone if the local exchange was full, even when the new one on the other side of the road had plenty of capacity, because they could not bill them right. ;D

One of the few positive things with deregulation, this is no issue now.
