Title: AE 34 Navy Phone
Post by: Doug Rose on October 05, 2015, 02:26:52 PM
I have had this for many years, but it came with a chrome banded handset which never looked right with the brass plaque. I removed it and put one on with painted black bands. I cleaned it up and put a few pics before it went back on the shelf. One of my favorite phones that I own....Doug

Cool phone, Doug! Maybe some bare brass bands would look right on that phone... ::)

How is the plaque held in place on the inside?

Christian...Plaque is on a metal dial blank and screws into it. I was thinking Brass, but everyone seems to think that there were no factory brass, just painted black or nickel. I just sold my last brass banded handset, so its like this for awhile.

Russ...I found it as is except for the original Nickel or chrome banded handset. I know nothing else about it...Doug
