Very pretty. I am guessing from the description it is not an original finish. Not clearly stated but seems to be inferred?? I also am guessing he means burled, not burr. Still an eye catcher anyway!

$650.00

I would offer to take over the contest but sometimes with my work I am so busy I do not even log on for a few days so I would miss too much. I know how much work you do here and do not blame you for trying to find a replacement. Won't someone step up and take some of the load from John?

Yes, Mr. Rose has been painting phones for quite some time and offering his services on the TCI listserv. He seems to do batches. By this example, he must have developed a burled walnut process of painting and it does look stunning, the reason it is a contest. Let's see what the market thinks of his work.

You're right. Seller is in Germany. But I am still correct in that Dick Rose does paint phones, right? It's just not turning out to be my day today.

Richard Rose  offers painting. He has a local auto shop paint telephone parts with  Polane .
Richard is one of the most knowledgeable collectors for Ericofons. He also has other phone stuff available.
