Seller Listing Title:  "Rare Original 1956 Model 500 Dark Blue WESTERN ELECTRIC ROTARY TELEPHONE PHONE"
Condition:  "Used"
Condition Qualifier:  " - - - "

Listing Description:  "Up for your consideration is a rather rare vintage original 1956 WESTERN ELECTRIC MODEL 500 BLUE ROTARY PHONE in as found condition. -- I know nothing about old phones, but I loved the look of this one and bought it. Apparently, this is a very low production, really rare telephone. The color is killer! -- This phone's body and hand set ( G-3) seem to be in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There is light scratching, light staining and light discoloration, AND IT COULD USE A GOOD CLEANING, but this 61 year old beauty really stands out and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection! -- I'm not sure if it's functioning for the sole reason that I haven't had a "land line" in years. The handset cord is remarkable complimentary gray color which is integrated to the body. This pre-dated "plug in" cord and exudes its authenticity. There is a modern plug primitively wired to the end of the cord. -- Certainly message me with any questions or concerns and I'll expeditiously respond. Peruse the many quality photographs for best representation of condition."
