Interesting Number Card

This 302 just sold on eBay for $21.50 plus $9 shipping.

The seller said it had cracks in the shell. The straight handset cord and dial looked interesting. Only 4 photos and 3 of them blurred.

I had it on my watch list and when checking out its status just before it sold, I clicked on the clearest of the four pictures and the number card caught my attention. The message is faded but it's there. Wonder what that was all about? That phrase did not come into the lexicon until White Rabbit was recorded, well after the 302 was out of production. An interesting observation, nothing more than that.

Maybe 'go ask Alice' was an office joke or home joke, where possibly she knew all the phone numbers, made a deal about it, etc, etc.
