This sold recently for a healthy €705 (£607.86 / $833).

With just a couple of phones from France remaining on my 'would like' list this is one of them so I was hoping to add it to my collection, but alas, not to be. I don't come across these very often, this one by far is in the tidiest condition of those I've seen.

From http://alain.levasseur.pagesperso-orange.fr/  (Les 1924)

'Let us now take a look at the first model proposed by LMT. It is made of sheet steel and is strongly inspired by the American model dear to Eliot Ness or Mickey in the very first Wall Disney films, moreover, the pear receiver used is imported from the United States. It must be said that LMT is the exclusive importer for France of the Western Electric brand. This model will have little success, at least in its mobile version. However, it will remain in use in telephone exchanges for a long time, its excellent quality microphone serving as a benchmark'.

That is a very interesting, elegant phone. " said while wiping drool from chin". lol!
I would be quite happy also to poses a piece such as that.
Sorry you missed that. it would have been fun sharing with you!
Hope you find one!

IIRC there was another member here who a while back had expressed an interest in owning one of these. Perhaps he is the new guardian and will update us if so.

*couple more screenshots added below.

I'd like one of those too, but not at that price.  :o
Are the standard PTT24s recycled versions of these with a cut-down stem?
:)
