Western Electric Brass 5H Dial 2 49

I have only found the WE Brass dials Dated 1 49 or 2 49.

I bought this on eBay from a fellow member, removed the black Paint while covering the dates with Vaseline. I have made that mistake before.  >:(

Heavy Brass finger wheel from an Early WE dial. The Brass on the dial will darken and match the fingerhweel in a few months.

These look great on a WE Dial stick...Doug

Nice dial but why strip the paint as these are supposed to be black?
I know shiny brass can look nice but it's certainly not original.
