I just bought another unusual phone on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390203890920).
( dead link 09-14-21 )

It was apparently made by the Belgian division of AE.

Very nice catch Larry. I see that you are diversifying your portfolio into the European market while still maintaining a good taste for the AE brand. And the price is not bad at all. The logo in the back looks really cool.

Looking forward to see pictures (under the hood) when it gets home.

I wonder if it will ring on 20 Hz lines.

Jorge,

I like variety and good appearance, and this phone is different than anything I have and looks really nice.  A good price also helps.

I certainly hope that everything, including the ringer, will work well.  I do not expect a problem with the ringer because I have Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, and British phones which all ring   I have not seen any frequency ringers on European phones.  I have been told and observed that the ringers on European phones draw more current, so I have added series resistors to some of mine to reduce the current draw.
