SSS is worth finding... it makes an excellent bug repellent, too.

Kenny,
Your mom probably knows an Avon Lady. You may even be able to get some sample packs.
Just a thought,
Jim

You can get it online via Amazon and probably a few other places.  Avon SSS (be careful of that acronym!) is an entire product line with many different products, but I'm guessing the stuff Doug uses is the original version:  http://tinyurl.com/2f4pfhb

For Novus,
on-line, or try motorcycle shops. Boat and RV places might have it also.

I ordered my Novus from Amazon.com.
It was not expensive and quick delivery.

Of course, I haven't used a lot of it on payphones yet, except for the handsets, and I'm still working on those.

SSS is wonderful, and I love the smell. :)

<accent=kiwi> Whiah ken I find Naruvus 2 in my neighbourhood? </accent>

I get it locally at Tap Plastics, but they're not in your area.  There's probably a similar plastics company in your neck of the woods.  Harley shops in my area only carried small bottles of Novus 1.  Tap had all 3 grades in larger (and cheaper) bottles.

Jon Finder carries it on his telephone site.

I think I bought it thru ebay.

For you TCI members, there has been a thread on cleaning bakelite. Harry mentioned me, so I copied this thread to the TCI list and put another plug for the Forum. Let's see if we can some more TCI members come on board the Forum....Doug
