Title: FRENCH U-43 - BROWN WITH DIAL BLANK
Post by: david@london on February 02, 2023, 01:04:04 PM
This brown bakelite U-43 just sold for £104.

Great looking phone, baseplate shows maker was S Té Plazolles of Bagnolet.
Cannot see a date anywhere & unfortunately the listing did not include a photo of the internals.

Perhaps a member has purchased this téléphone?

That looks very nice.  I didn't realize that these were made in brown.  I have the basic black and ivory versions.  This one was probably made for PBX use.  It is missing the "propriété de l'État".

I was watching that one and would love to have it but couldn't justify the money.
A lovely phone without a doubt.

The plug looks unusual for a French phone, doesn't it?
