There is a clear phone on ebay at:

www.ebay.com/itm/261174253517

He is NOT claiming it is a WE 2500.

Could it be?  ???

Likely Cortelco PC2500  from the look of the ball bearing bell in it. I have its twin here which now has WE guts in it, but which was originally all Cortelco. The cases fit a 2500 base, but the interior components are not of the same quality.

Not worth anything near what he is asking. Should be max. $30 to $50.

It's an ITT / Cortelco at best worth $50.00 BIN

Looks like a regular ITT ringer with the plastic frame, rather than the later ball bearing chucker ringer, so a somewhat decent sounding ringer if it's anything like the one in my 1A2 ITT phone... :D

But still, it's a tad pricey for what it is...  :o

I surfed out a Cortelco site that had them in transparent blue and pink for $100 new.

I wouldn't mind having it as a toy. The idea of loadiing the case over a WE unit appeals to me. The wife thought it was 'cute'. I rebuilt her a mustard yellow 2500 and she uses it to renew her prescriptions over the phone. Much easier than trying to enter all those digits on a tiny cell phone!

Maybe he will relist it as a more reasonable price.
