Yesterday at a nearby store I found a ITT 500 in garbage condition, but got it for parts. But then the owner said he had something else fun, a "black box with a handle on it". At first I thought it was one of those WWI-era bomb detonator things you would see in looney tunes, but it was actually a WE 299f magneto! But the best part was it was only $5!! I bought it (duh!!).

$5.00 is a great deal. Put it in the find of the month.

That magneto is a handy tool to have on your workbench to test ringing.

Yesterday I was at the store again and got a Kellogg (model 44?) candlestick. I am not a candlestick or Kellogg expert, so any help would be appreciated. They said it went with the magneto, but I'm not sure. I ended up paying 10 dollars for it.
