I purchased from eBay a 1977 Green Contempra, made in Canada. Can anybody help me with converting it so that I can use it on the UK system.  Any help would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks

I have no idea what cord grommet they use, maybe just slice and dice a 700 series linecord to fit?

My pair:

"now this should take five minutes, where's me screwdriver went now..?"

To remove the case
Remove the dial label, by using a pin or other object, that can locate in the small hole. Push the label towards the middle of the phone, until the label bows upwards.  Then flick out with a fingernail.
Slacken the screw that will be found under the dial label.
Lift the front of the case upwards to an angle of around 45 degrees and then pull towards you to dislocate the lugs at the rear of the case.
Refitting is the reversal of the above.  (from Bob Freshwater's site op cit)
