I have two places I can get a coin relay for my WE 236G...
one is a complete assy, other, requires purchasing two parts, and puttin them together.
What are your feelings on each option???
I am not afraid of a little assy, but...
I know nuthing about either, so I need a little wisdom here please.

The only coin relay and hopper you pictured that is correct for your 236G is the one being sold by Oldphoneworks.
What they send you must be EXACTLY what is in the closeup pictures.

The relay must have four screw terminals for electrical connection points on the right side and have a straight plastic coin trigger.

A relay that looks the same from the front but only has two screw terminals and a 'T' shaped plastic coin trigger will not work in your 236G.

I nearly bought the wrong one :o

Matt at Oldphoneworks will give you a discount if you tell him you are a forum member.

Yea I was going to say the same thing.
The 1A is for a single slot, it would kinda work but it's not period correct.
