Title: Restoring the felt feet on a 302 desk telephone
Post by: cccp68801 on March 08, 2018, 03:40:01 PM
Hello all:

Does anyone have the video that shows how to restore the 4 felt covered feet on a 302 desk telephone?
I thought that one time there was a visdo that showed a person how do to repair them.

I think there's several posts on it, but I don't recall a video.      The feet on a 302 by the way, were covered with a leather, not felt.     The base plates on desk stands were generally covered with felt.   Use the "search" provision of the forum and you should find something on it.

Jeff;

I believe this is a compilation of several different processes.

As a side note, they also used rubber feet and some feet on 302's / 5302's are screw mounted vs riveted. I think these were refurbished sets that were refurbished under contract with Bell.
Just a guess tho.
