Found another one in an ITT that luckily wasn't SOLDERED in place!

I agree with unbeldi; I don't recall hearing loud pops in the receiver on my AE40 instruments, soc heck the switchook contacts for the proper make/break sequence (there should be an adjustment sheet in the TCI Library). You may not need a varistor.

It's not like an amazingly LOUD pop.

It's noticeable, but not extraordinary.


It's almost gone with the now added varistor.

I have an older 302 that has absolutely no noise when going on/off hook.

I guess it's all in the timing!

Still looking for that adjustment sheet...
