Picked this up over the weekend. The dial was shot so I installed NOS AE. What a flawed design to add a dial to this beauty, two clips the screw into dial and the clips tighten to the phone when screwed into the dial!

Conversation loud and clear....really nice ring. I did not notice the tiny crack where the receiver goes as it was really covered with dirt. There was no missing bakelite under it, now there is. These are such fragile phones. I must have not noticed there was crack when I swapped out the dial. I have looked everywhere for the missing piece. Displays wonderfully, but it sure is a pissoff!!

To this day, I have never seen one that doesn't have some kind of damage, no matter how slight!!....Doug
