I was mending a crack in my (dirty" princess phone, and when a stray drop landed on an area I didn't want it to be, I quickly wiped it off. To my amazement, the spot was "clean"! Back to the original yellow. So my question is: does super glue contain an ingredient that can be used for restoring original color to certain telephones? It made me wonder of products like Goof Off, might work too? Any experience with this?

The glue probably adhered to the dirt on the plastic, and when you removed the glue, the dirt went with.  Also, the might possibly dissolve the upper layer of plastic a bit.

To remove hardened super glue, use acetone (nail polish remover).
