Extreme Collection - Phones

I just caught a piece of a TV show on the Discovery Channel.

I was downstairs on the computer (yes, this forum), and all of a sudden, my wife starts yelling for me in a real excited voice to come upstairs "NOW!!"

So, I dropped what I was doing and she pointed to the TV.  There was Dan Golden with his collection of over 500 phones on the Discovery Channel's "Extreme Collections" show.  I have always heard of Dan, but I have never met him.

He has some very, very nice pieces indeed.

I could not tell if this was a current show or a rerun.  Sunday TV shows have a tendency to be reruns.

No, but he had some choice pieces.  I know of several who probably have more than 500

Maybe you could try.  I looked on the Discovery website but could not find anything.  The owners of the show pretty much control when things are aired and on what media it is aired.

Maybe by now its on you tube.

Dan has also appeared on Storage Wars where he appraised a phone found in a storage unit.

I believe he later bought it and tried several times to sell it on ebay.  Here is Dan with it and some of his other phones.
