AE 40 ringer replacement

anybody know of a replacement (Straight line) ringer for a AE 40?
I am not picky, just need it to make noise when called.

Which ringer? Later type 40 sets have a smaller ringer that is the same mechanism as in the type 80.Just switch the brackets.Do you have a bad ringer or a freq. ringer?

it is a freq.

Are you sure about the date? . Type 40s were introduced about 1938.
is this a type 34a3?.You need the larger ringer either way. You might need to replace the capacator to match the ringer. .47 uf  @ at least 250 v would work
