What do you mean by story?

I don't recognize the seller but the seller says the phone "seems" to be painted.

Who ever painted the phone also painted over the numbers on the bezel so the number card is the new "bezel."

Modular handset cord. No image of the back.

I'm sure I've seen that one before but, that aside, I think they did it to make the phone look more "european", as it kind of reminds me of something european, it's just too expensive for a painted phone...  ;D

This phone has been for sale before (or still). It is an interesting look, They might be able to get $20-$30 from me at a yard sale for it.
