Noticed this "rare? WE SP? moss green 500U" last night just after it was listed at $50.00. It picked up 2 bids immediately but no activity since. It's an interesting listing in that it's not in the best of shape but seems to be soft plastic (seller replied to my question saying there are 6 holes in the receiver cap). Seems to be a small crack in the shell between the light and the dial bezel which is covered by the light hood. It's missing the plastic knob and it has some rust on the bottom but no "refurb" marks. Seems like original cords. So, given all that, what do you think this phone in this condition will sell for when the auction ends?

With the value range of this phone being known, generally, Rule #3 will once again be relaxed to 4% so guess gaps of 8+% can be split in half. I'll help with these as the auction goes forward and guesses are entered.

The seller listed it as a "vintage rotary telephone western electric mushroom light bell system green color" with the item condition as "Used" and " - - - " and said "This is a vintage rotary telephone, western electric bell system, it is green with a mushroom lamp light to see the numbers when dialing, note the small clear plastic piece thats goes below is missing. The phone has the wire plug hook up also, the phone was in working order when remover from the home,it does have some surface rust on the bottom ".

Still another chance to either move up a rung or to get onto the CRPF -> Contest Standings <- list.

     - - - >  As always, you have to play to win!

New forum members are very welcome and encouraged to take a guess. After all, there are no wrong guesses, just one lucky one. No one knows the winning bid on any auction until it ends. However, it is important to get your guess in before someone else grabs your guess.

As I said above, I will help members as the contest progresses to prevent guess crowding under Rule #3 lowered to 4% for this contest.
