The base is from a 302, the housing is from Leich and it uses AE parts. Looks like an AE80 to me.

I have a North copy on a 302 base just like the one described here http://www.paul-f.com/north.htm.  I imagine that 302 bases were plentiful and cheap 30-50 years ago.

I saw that pone last night on e-bay while checking out some magneto phones. It is an interesting phone and I wouldn't mind finding a nice one like that.
