I just acquired this 2"x2.25" paperweight from eBay. It is embossed "SAVE TIME-SAVE STEPS".  The only advertising I can find that uses this phrase is from 1910 and promotes having interphones installed so you don't have to run up and down the steps. That date seems a little early, I thought these were made later on. I don't know much about paperweights, which ones are Bell System and which ones were Pioneers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Those are called (google)  "blue bell paperweight".    "Save time, save steps" was reproduced ,Some/all had pioneer markings I don't know the colors they offered. This is a good reference for blue bells

I think yours is from the original mold. The book may give you some good background info on where and when.

Thanks!  I have seen a few other examples on eBay that look different-more translucent and less "crisp" than this one.  I assume those are the re-issues?
