Just grabbed my first D1

Well,  so far so good.

Everything cleaned up fairly nicely, although the paint's rough and flaking badly in several places.

The biggest issue so far, though, is that someone took apart the hookswitch contacts and bent the heck out of them, so that they don't really mate properly. I've spent some time trying to straighten them out, but haven't improved things much so far. I may end up just replacing them, rather than messing things up even worse.

By the way, the dial is a true #4, and not a converted #2. There was no evidence of plugged screw holes.

Anyway, here are a few before photos. I didn't have a chance to take after photos, and am currently at school so I can't right now. I'll follow up with them, though.
