And the winner of Auction Contest #284 is poplar1 who with the 11th entry into the contest offered the winning guess of $330.00 to give him his 5th auction contest win. So, once again, our congratulations go out to poplar1 for another win in the CRPF Auction Contests and for moving up one rung in the Contest Standings.

The phone was won by m***r ( 1556 ) who placed his first and only bid of the auction just 4 seconds before the auction ended to take the phone home for $326.00. The phone started at $79.99 and rose slowly over 6 days to $158. The bidding activity began about 3 hours before end time raising the price into the low $200s. It was during the last 30 seconds that saw a flurry of bids come in with two snipes both placed with 4 seconds left in the auction, The auction saw 13 bidders placing 21 bids.
