Title: Birthday Phone
Post by: Doug Rose on January 21, 2017, 01:14:42 PM
I was going through the piles and thought this was a solid 302. I opened it to found it was  NE and it was my birthday phone. 12 18 53 is me. Dated all very close with the coil being spot on. Receiver is 4/54 and the dial plate is II54, the rest late December 53. The shell look like 41853 but the 3 is rubbed a tad. 500 sets had been out a while and 302s were just being made with parts. Still a great find in my own basement....Doug

Another phone covered with paint but I got it all (most of it) off, kept it sheen well. Birthday Phone for me 12 53. Brown plungers like I have on my Mahoganny #1. It is my first NE 302, like I really need another 302  8)...Doug
