I'm sure it seemed like a great idea at the time. Wonder what's under there?
Huh indeed, they say it's a'52 phone, but clearly it says 54 on the base, methinks they need to go back to school to re-learn their numbers... (http://www.recycleabicycle.co.uk/pics/smilies/floorroll.gif)
But, don't forget the big selling point. It is listed at a "A LOW STARTING PRICE AND NO RESERVE!" or in numbers, $124.99 plus $14.50 shipping!
And it is a nice paint job on the shell with only minimal chipping . . .
I have to say, if they used the metallic blue over the whole phone, it'd look quite good, but, that's just me, I like blue things... ;D
I am a newby on ebay stuff, but this sounds like boloney to me: low starting price and no reserve?
Isn't that like, there is no water in it but it is wet?

I was being sarcastic, the seller wasn't. You got it right. Now, if the starting bid was $9.99, the no reserve would make more sense. As listed, there is a reserve, a known stated reserve, and it is $124.99.
Here's the companion phone. Wouldn't want this one getting lonely. Both are bargain priced for that discriminating collector ???

The blue and orange phone is still for sale! The price has been lowered to $99.99. It is the same one because it is advertised as a 1952 model but marked as a 1954!
