Title: Etched Brass Public Pay Station Sign On Ebay
Post by: magicbrain on December 15, 2017, 02:10:35 PM
What is the opinion on this Public Pay Station sign/plaque on ebay - appears to be etched brass treated with acid and/or heat - someones art project?

I did something similar in high school, the Chevy bowtie with my initials in it  ::) - nothing as elaborate as this though.

As an FYI, this sign was posted in the "Worst Sign" topic at this link:

This seems to be a re-list of the sign (at $300, it will be re-listed as many times as the pink mushroom). Seller in the description says "Needs cleaning and painting." Well, yes, that and more . . .

As to how this sign came to be in this condition, don't know.
