Imperial/Color Phone Brochure on Ebay
« on: December 02, 2011, 07:24:19 PM »
Did anyone among us happen to win this today (12/2/11)?  I'd gladly pay whatever you think is fair for a good color copy.  I've never seen one like it.

Here's a link to the actual auction:

That is a very cool brochure! According to the handles list it could be 2 buyers, neither is a member here but one is a member of both phone clubs.

Closed at $77.99.

That's the highest hammer price I can recall for a mid-50s color brochure.

Harry, I checked the feedback and it is the one that is a member of both clubs.

It's funny how they call keysets "pushbutton" phones, and wall phones "hand wall phones".   At first I thought it said "handy", but it is "hand".

That is a very nice brochure.  Nice color copies may just cover the buyer's expense and more.  I'd love to have one too.

Below are the rest of the pictures, for posterity. We may never see this brochure again and yes, that has to be a record price. It's a very nice brochure and I don't remember seeing an Imperial in any other. Continentals, yes, but not Imperials.

I think it's from late 1955 or early 1956 since red phones still had gray cords.
