Searching for My Holy Grail
« on: May 03, 2014, 04:13:06 PM »
I'm looking for a Lime Green ITT, or S/C if in good shape, prefer the ITT, hard wired Dial phone.
Tired of being outbid on the rare few that get posted.
I would like to buy one outright from anyone that has one. I'll pay premium price for a good set.

Wow, Dan.

This has replaced the Birthday 1949 500 set at the top of your Holy Grail list?

I agree, it's like he is trading in his Cadillac for a Toyota.

Of course, D/P, were just joking around..

Personally, I would go for a forty-niner. They're elusive, since the difference can barely be told from a '65 500.

I feel my chances of finding a 49-500, are about as good as hitting the lottery.
After I find a Lime green 500, I'll raise the bar again.

Hmm, about time for the "poison green" phone to resurface:  http://www.classicrotaryphones.com/forum/index.php?topic=4005.msg52499#msg52499
