Don't know anything about it but the listing states:
" thick institutional gray powdercoat paint job "
I did not know they had powder coating in the 40's :o

I did not know they had powder coating in the 40's :o

Interesting. I bet the seller is someone  with new clue as to when powder coating was first used.
